She received her MFA in Therapy Arts in 2001, where she discovered the profound impact of the arts as a healing agent for mental health through evidence-based practices. I

n 2009, she earned a doctorate in Neurolinguistic Programming from New York. The same year, she faced the tragic loss of her son, Kingdom James, to gun violence in Brooklyn, a pivotal event that led her to establish The Kingdom Warriors Foundation (KWF) in Los Angeles in 2013. The foundation's mission is to create careers for the underserved, with a strong emphasis on reparations. KWF provides vocational training, job placement services, and advocates for policy changes to support economic opportunities for marginalized communities.

In 2016, Dr. TruthBey expanded her impact by founding The Ochrenah Policy Training Institute in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. This institute trains selected students in policy and economics, equipping them to address Haiti's economic challenges and foreign agitations. Through rigorous academic and practical training, students are empowered to become community leaders and advocates for sustainable development and reparations.

Ash Street was born over 10 years ago amidst many hardships, life challenges, and recovery struggles of its co-founders, Michael Jackson and Mike Palmer.

The individual journeys and combined efforts of restoring their own broken lives and families, as well as overcoming significant barriers, became the inspiring backdrop for their mission to help others in similar situations—homeless people, substance abusers, ex-convicts, and others with traumatic pasts.Michael states, 'We worked extremely hard to restore our broken families.
